On behalf of our client, HumanPower is looking for an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance operations of critical infrastructure and systems. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Experience with hydraulics, water treatment, and energy-efficient practices
- Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance
- Proficient in equipment diagnostics and repair
- Familiar with maintenance management software
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Skilled in risk assessment and implementing mitigation measures
Professional Experience:
- 10+ years in a maintenance leadership role
- Proven ability to manage internal maintenance teams and external contractors
- Hands-on experience with asset maintenance planning and work order management
Key Competencies:
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance operations
- Lead, train, and manage maintenance personnel
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure consistent equipment reliability and optimal performance
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance
